  • truthisacceptable You need to get your facts straight. The tires in the Explorer /Firestone recall were the problem. All top heavy 4 wheel drives are not meant to be driven like a sports car. They handle differently and unfortunately not everyone was aware of this.

  • A lot of misinformation going through here. All Toyotas are not made in the USA. Toyota exports the majority of the cars produced in Japan and the majority of those come to the USA. I don't want to start quoting percentages as everyone pea brain will contest them.

  • This is an insane program. There is NO way the imports/transplants should be included. I don't care where they build SOME of their cars. Like wise for giving Nissan $1.6 billion to develop an alternative energy auto that MAY be built here sometime in the future.
